2012
The Old Post Office on Davis Drive was purchased and opened as Workshop IV to serve more individuals. Additionally, in 2012, we began utilizing the back of the workshop to house our Recycled Treasures Yard Sale operation.
2011
In February, Exceptional Mail & More opened in the remodeled South Wing of The Stafford Building.
In May 2012, our Administrative Offices moved into the remodeled North Wing of the Stafford Building, which opened up more classrooms at the School to serve the Severe and Profound. On June 1, 2012 Falcon Park VI was opened to serve 4 residential individuals.
2009
In 2009, Community Employment’s offices moved into the West Wing of The Stafford Building, allowing them to expand their services. At this time, they began serving individuals in the Georgia Department of Labor Vocational Rehabilitation program.
2008
On June 1, 2008, Falcon Park IV & V were opened to serve 7 residential individuals.
2005
In March 2005, FP III opened to serve 10 residential individuals.
2003
In August 2003, we broke ground on Falcon Park III,
our semi-independent living apartment complex that was funded by HUD.

1993
In March 1993, Falcon Park I and II (group homes funded by HUD) were opened to serve 8 residential individuals.
In August 1993, Workshop III was opened to manage our many recycling contracts.
1985
In 1985, Happy Hour Workshop II (McCannon Building) was built, and financed, through an SBA loan.
1976
In 1976, Happy Hour School was overflowing and the Jay Ryals annex was added.
1970
Happy Hour Workshop I (Dan Callahan Building) was built through a private foundation grant of $75,000. This building was completely furnished, and paid in full, upon opening.
1966
The School was at full capacity and two additional classrooms, along with an assembly room, were added.
1964
The Happy Hour School (Maude Paris Building) was completed. The Jaycees sponsored a successful fund drive and also helped construction.
1957
On September 17, 1957 the first class began in Second Baptist Church.
1956
The Houston County Association for Exceptional Children, Inc. was founded.
